CALIFORNIA LAW MANDATES THAT ALL COACHES MUST RECEIVE TRAINING ON CONCUSSIONS. THE TRAINING MAY BE FULFILLED THROUGH THE FREE, ONLINE COURSE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATIONS (NFHS).
ALL MANAGERS, COACHES, TEAM MOMS AND OTHERS WHO WILL BE WORKING WITH THE TEAM ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE PRIOR TO BEGINNING PRACTICE WITH THEIR TEAMS.

 Upon completion of the course download and print the certificate of completion. The certificate of completion should be available for Little League officials for various events.

Additionally, on a yearly basis, a concussion and head injury information sheet shall be signed and returned by the athlete's parent or guardian before the athlete's initiating practice or competition. The following documents are provided to meet this requirement:
